What would you do with this...?

This is how this looks now, in someone else's house. What would you do with it?

I have next to no space in my kitchen for ANYTHING. Dishes, food, storage.... I'm hoping this china cabinet will help me fix that but I'm not sure how to use it to my best advantage.

I don't have many showy pieces - right now I'm just trying to make do with a little house while we save for the big house.

Any suggestions? Paint it? Cover the windows? What can I put in it?

PINTEREST!!!!!!! Amazing ideas!!

There are a TON of crafting goddesses w/ DIY blogs out there. I'd totally scour those for appearance ideas. (And yes, PINTEREST would probably cut your search time in half or more.) As for what to store - I'd keep with dishes storage up top. There are tons of ways to exploit all its holding capacity with clever gadgets at the Container Store (and usually pretty good knock-offs of them at Wal-Mart). For the bottom, good luck. I had one of these in my kitchen for a while. Granted, I got it small on purpose so it'd fit, but it was hard to make it functional because of weird shelf sizes. Yours looks like you will have much better success. Also, if you don't mind putting stuff inbetween the top & bottom, that's where I kept my cook books. It worked pretty well actually.
