House Hunting ... Again

Last time I posted about house hunting was a LONG LONG LONG LONG LONG time ago. (Yes, I am aware of the grammatical misconstruction of that sentence.) And at that point and time, we were attempting to purchase a home. Now, however, we're just looking to find something to rent.

Well, we think we've found it. It's quaint. Smallish but largish enough for our family of four+dog. We hope to rent for a year or two and THEN try to purchase a home. I'm really excited.

No, really.

YOU HAVE NO IDEA how excited I am.

It has been a tremendous blessing that we have had a safe home filled with people who love us. We have been blessed in our marriage, in our parenting, in our finances, and in our perceptions. I have absolutely no complaints about where I have lived - with my mother - for the past two years. We simply could not have made it on our own, due to a job loss, education, etc.

Yet I am excited, because I feel our family is closing one chapter and starting the next in our adventure.

Anyway. This place we've found... I've only seen the outside. Skye saw the inside and took pictures for me and drew a floorplan. We're filling out an application today. Is that faith in one's husband, or what?

Just a rental. Two years max. I can totally do this.

Wish us luck.

Good luck on the rental house! That is SOO exciting! And I totally know how you feel. It is wonderful and helpful to stay with family but it is wonderful to move on with a new chapter in your life. So good luck!
