I'm SICK and TIRED of this heat! I've had a heat-related migraine for days now, it doesn't get lower than 84 degrees at night, Lucy is going stir-crazy because I won't let her outside after 10 AM, and the Weather Channel says we're stuck in this rut for the foreseeable future. PLUS, we haven't had any rain since May 24th. TWO AND A HALF MONTHS.
We got something in the mail from the city just the other day, saying that by the first week of September we will be regulating things such as watering our lawns.
There's a big oak tree in our neighbor's yard - BEAUTIFUL tree - that is dying a slow and painful death from the heat.
Today's high will likely be 108 degrees.

Wasn't that rain Saturday morning SWEET??? The thunder jolted me out of bed and then I heard the rain and woke Daron up shouting - it's raining! Then he spent 20 minutes outside trying to fix a downspout so it wouldn't go straight down the foundation!
